Representative image of a Wright’s-stained smear of aqueous humor from the right eye of a dog with chronic uveitis. There are many neutrophils, some of which are degenerate, with a few macrophages. Large numbers of phagocytized small coccobacilli are seen intracellularly in one of the neutrophils (arrow) (1000x).
