There is increased space between RBCs, compatible with anemia, with low numbers of polychromatophils (arrowheads), supporting a mild regenerative response. Organisms are difficult to ascertain from this magnification. The two cells are a nucleated red blood cell (arrow) and neutrophil. Platelets are judged mildly decreased (modified Wright’s stain, 50x objective).
