A cluster of small cuboidal to polyhedral epithelial cells, likely of renal origin. Although these could be small transitional epithelial cells, their shape was more compatible with a renal origin. In addition, the animal had cellular, granular and waxy casts in the urine, indicating active and chronic tubular injury.
