There are several red blood cell agglutinates (black arrow), low numbers of polychromatophilic cells (black arrowhead) and a single nucleated red blood cell (red arrow) with two mature neutrophils (Wright’s stain). Spherocytes and the Mycoplasma organism are difficult to see (see Figure 2A).
