Most of the tumor cells showed strong membrane staining for CD20 (brown stain). This B cell marker can be positive in plasma cell tumors, whereas an immunostain for MUM-1 (typically used as a plasma cell marker) was negative, but we have found this immunostain can be unreliable in cats.
