The electrophoretogram shows a small sharp monoclonal peak on a polyclonal base in the gamma region (arrow). The monoclonal peak is just discernible as a sharp band in the snapshot of the bands above the densitometric tracing (arrow). The electrophoresis was done using a capillary zone technique, 5 months after surgical removal of the tumor. The cat was on prednisolone therapy at the time, which may explain the small peak on the electrophoretogram and potentially the normal globulin concentration on the chemistry panel.
