Restricted oligoclonal gammopathy

restricted oligoclonal

Electrophoretogram from a dog with a restricted oligoclonal gammopathy due to Ehrlichia canis infection. There is a tall narrow peak (arrow) superimposed on a broad polyclonal base in the γ-region. When individual immunoglobulins (total IgG, IgM and IgA) were measured, by radial immunodiffusion, the bulk of the immunoglobulin comprising the broad-based peak was IgG, although IgA and IgM were also increased.
